Job Description
To start with, the position of Technology Specialist sits comfortably in the Global R&D, Technology Solutions department. An incredibly diverse team that helps each other learn, grow and develop. Just how we like it! As a Technology Specialist you will be asked to lead technology projects from Research till Implementation in close collaboration with the NPD, Engineering and Operations teams. For this, we don’t just need you to be a knowledgeable professional but also strongly rely on your interpersonal skills as well as your drive for success. Know that you’ll have a crucial role in creating and protecting the impact we look for in our value chain. With this said, we like you to take responsibility over the following tasks:
- Lead several technology and/or ingredient development projects.
- Responsible for project planning, budget and resources.
- Coach/mentor junior specialists and interns to conduct all execution tasks
- Collaborate with engineering, packing and category colleagues to ensure on time in full project delivery
- Build and apply relevant technological knowledge and best practices to support execution of projects as well as trouble shooting of manufacturing challenges.
- Tasks can include: defining and leading pilot or plant trials, reporting & presenting findings within JDE stakeholders and project teams, providing technical consultancy or support in personal expertise areas
Qualifications
