QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge and experience working in a bakery environment preferred.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Must be a team player, have good organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision, and possess a safety-first approach to work.
- Detail oriented
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer and MS Office skills.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including overtime and have dependable attendance.
- Strong oral and written communication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Often wear safety equipment such as gloves, hair nets, steel toed safety shoes/boots and beard nets.

Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE
The R&D Trial Coordinator oversees all activities directly relating to the activities of R&D trials and maintain and organized profiles.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:
- Co-ordinate and supervise full scale production testing to validate new and revised formulations, production parameters and processes.
- Maintain mixer, sheeter, oven profiles for existing products and new products, in co-ordination with Processing Specialist Manager.
- Liaise between with Supply chain and Production to schedule the trial, review raw materials required for the trials.
- Co-ordinate between R&D and Production to provide all the oven, sheeter, Dough parameters
- Monitor and document all the activities during the trial, including weighing, dough checks, dough at the oven and sheeter.
- Perform breakage and analyze if parameters are met with existing profiles.
- Responsible for daily management and support for the team to achieve operational success.
- Monitor time and attendance and ensure compliance with Company Procedures.
- Approve the vacation requests.
- Carry out incident, accident and non-conformity investigations and associated reporting and action closure.
- Issue disciplinary action when needed.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
- Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
