JOB POSTING   JOB TITLE: Bartender DEPARTMENT: Deep Six or Patio or Dining Room REPORTS TO: General Manager   POSITION PURPOSE: The Bartenders are responsible for taking orders and serving food and drinks to customers with a positive attitude and ensuring that the bar is served properly, and all payments are collected. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Take drink and food orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude  2. Knowledge of the menu with the ability to upsell and make suggestions 3. Accurately count inventory on the last day of the month EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 1. High school diploma or general education degree preferred 2. Restaurant or customer service experience preferred 3. Working knowledge of sanitation procedures 4. Must have flexible schedule to include working weekends and holidays during busy season   WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds 2. Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency 3. Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally 4.
