Oversee day-to-day operations of the supervision program, including processes and procedures, supervisory training, branch audit schedules and rotation, tracking and reporting, etc. to detect and mitigate company and regulatory risks.

Oversee day-to-day operations of the supervision program, including processes and procedures, supervisory training, branch audit schedules and rotation, tracking and reporting, etc. to detect and mitigate company and regulatory risks.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team in conducting pre/post-sale business reviews of select independent licensed insurance agents including new agents, special supervision agents, agents under investigation, etc.
- Foster a culture of compliance by promoting awareness and understanding of regulatory requirements to field leaders and agents. Influence and drive discussions on compliance topics with field leaders and agents.
- Provide management reports on trends and adherence to supervision/compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Identify trends and training opportunities for field agents.
- Coach the team in corrective coaching discussions and supervisory training to agents for adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide direction in the development and implementation of training materials, such as bulletins and webinars.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve workflow processes and communications to the field; implement approved improvements.
- Lead and/or participate in department and company projects.
- Coordinate scheduling/rotation and analyst activities during branch audits to ensure agent adherence to business and regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership and direction to the team toward operational excellence and accountability. Ensure, staff have the training and tools required to perform job duties. Hire, lead, train, develop, coach, and reward team members.
Qualifications
- Five years of insurance/financial services and supervisory/compliance experience
- Three years of relevant management experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of regulations and industry rules for life insurance products
- Life Insurance license
- Strong relationship management, customer/agent focus, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills
- Ability to prioritize, delegate, and/or implement multiple activities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency using MS Office products
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in finance or business
- Knowledge of WFGIA processes and procedures
- Knowledge and application of life insurance industry concepts, practices, and principles
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Bilingual or multilingual – fluent (oral and written) in French, English, Punjabi to complete required job duties and to communicate with a diverse agent and employee base. Expected to complete most business transactions with WFGIA in English, as management located in Ontario and in the U.S. speak English for daily/frequent communications

- Office or hybrid office/remote environment
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle required for branch review travel (approximately 20%)
