Description:

THE HIGHLIGHTS:

DePaul Law’s Racial Justice Fellowship will enable the study and advocacy of racial justice for vulnerable communities in Chicago. The Fellow, mentored and supervised by a Faculty Director, will teach and mentor law students, develop course material and contribute to advocacy-oriented programs and projects at the law school, the university and within Chicago.

Responsibilities:

  • As determined by the Faculty Director, the Fellow’s responsibilities can include:Supervising students on research, law and policy analysis, and advocacy skills to further racial justiceOverseeing volunteers and interns working with the law school on racial justice issuesOrganizing conferences, workshops and seminars for university and community stakeholdersDrafting research and policy papers in conjunction with the Faculty DirectorExperience supervising or working with students is desirable.
