GenesisCare has an exciting opportunity to join our established team at our Joondalup Oncology Centre in a permanent part-time position, working 4 days per week on an initial maximum term contract.
GenesisCare delivers comprehensive radiotherapy. Our purpose is to design care experiences that get the best life outcomes possible which is driven by our values. Our professionals actively participate in a multidisciplinary care approach to optimise the entire patient journey. As the Radiation Therapist, you will report directly to the Unit Leader and join us as we build our multidisciplinary team during this exciting growth period.

More specifically, you will:

• Undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
• Correctly administer all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
• Ensure all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed.
• Ensure patient care and centre standards are maintained.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy (treatment and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
• Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment.
• Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.
• Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
• Current licence with the Radiological Council of WA.
• Demonstrated commitment to high quality patient care.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
• Able to develop and maintain strong and cooperative working relationships.
