Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY:

KBR is seeking a talented and experienced RF Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work on innovative projects that support mission-critical capabilities for our defence and commercial clients. The RF Engineer will play a key role in reviewing and maintaining radio frequency systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in RF system design, analysis, and testing.
  • Proficiency with RF simulation tools and test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
  • Strong understanding of RF principles, wave propagation, and signal processing.
  • Experience with defence or commercial RF systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, implement, and optimize RF systems, including antennas, amplifiers, and other components.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and simulations to predict RF system performance.
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting of RF equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Develop and document technical specifications and test plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate RF systems into larger projects.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
