Description:

A new role to Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as part of the Community Diagnostic Centre Programme and across the wider Trust, the QSI Accreditation Manager shall work as part of an Accreditation Team, leading on the development, implementation and embedding of a Trust wide accreditation process.

  • Lead and project manage the Radiology QSI accreditation programme at HHFT.
  • Support the radiology teams to develop of a strong culture of quality and project methodology to deliver QSI accreditation to the Trust and sustain the life cycle of accreditation.
  • Identify gaps in provisions and ensure these are supported, evidenced, and implemented in the participating disciplines.
  • Lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures for activity, contributing to and ensuring compliance with QSI across Patient Experience, Facilities, Resources & Workforce, Safety and Clinical domains.
  • Develop an audit plan for the programme and perform regular audit of to ensure programme is fit for purpose and meets current accreditation standards.
  • Be a budget holder for an accreditation budget to ensure the robust financial running of the programme.
  • Set up and Co-Chair programme Assurance Meetings throughout the course of accreditation lifecycle.
  • Lead on any extension to scope required for Radiology services in the Community Diagnostic Centres
  • Operational and Managerial responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Accreditation Team

The role of the Radiology Accreditation Programme Manager is to formulate and lead implementation and maintenance of the Improving Quality in QSI accreditation pathways trust wide. The post holder will work closely with Radiology services to deliver the UKAS objectives in order to facilitate ongoing excellence in patient care, safety, efficiency and quality.
The post holder will work alongside the Radiology SMT and CDC Programme Manager to prepare applications for QSI accreditation. This will include implementation, management and oversight of a Quality Management System (QMS), examining policies, processes, roles and organisational redesign, using self-assessment and improvement tools (SAIT) and methodologies, ensuring services, process and roles are sustainable, scalable, safe, kind and excellent.
