Description:

RADIOLOGY ASSISTANT

Tunbridge Wells Hospital | Radiology | Permanent | Part Time
£23,887.50 pro rata
18 hours per week
Nuffield Health is the UK’s largest Healthcare Charity. We’re here to look after the nation’s health. And a big part of this is about creating the best possible experience for our patients. That’s why we’re looking for someone new to support our colleagues and be there when it matters, helping to deliver the highest standards of care.
We currently have an opportunity in Radiology for you to join our team. Previous experience working in a healthcare setting and/or an NVQ in Health and Social Care is an advantage and your excellent interpersonal skills, perhaps gained in a customer facing role, are just as important to us. Dealing with IT and performing administrative tasks is also a significant part of the job and so a good level of IT literacy is necessary.
Our Radiology Assistants are a vital support to the Radiology team. The work is interesting and varied, providing assistance with a range of diagnostic imaging procedures and supporting the administrative staff within the department. Radiology Assistants are interested in working with a diverse spectrum of people and conditions, all with individual needs and expectations. Our radiology HCA must be driven by a desire to provide a first class service in a caring and understanding manner.
If you are interested in a position caring for people whilst developing new skills and a qualification in care then Nuffield Health is the place for you. You will acquire a wide range of skills working with us and achieve a personal sense of accomplishment and pride.
We are looking for someone to work 2 days a week, Wednesdays and Fridays 8am till 5.30pm with opportunities for overtime when covering holidays and sickness and additional clinics.
