Description:
To assist in the provision and delivery of a high-quality radiographic service within Northumbria Health Care Trust whilst adhering to all trust and departmental policies and procedures. To act as the first contact for the department upon a patients arrival, carrying out clerical and reception duties. Ensuring patient details are correct, with some requirement to book appointments. To participate in all aspects of the administration service within Radiology To act as a first point of contact for the department and co-ordinate patient appointments and enquiries using initiative to discern between queries ensuring minimum interruption to the service.
Alert management of urgent reports Use the Image Exchange Portal (IEP) for transfer of images both to and from ELHT. To upload CDs with DICOM imaging onto PACS. To ensure all required imaging for MDT meetings is made available to internal and external clinical teams in a timely manner. To create user accounts on PACS / RIS assigning role-based level access
