- Location: Milwaukee base with required travel among Southeast WI facilities
REQUIREMENTS
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- One or more of the following required:
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. All specialties accepted.
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate’s degree/Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
Responsibilities:
Direct, plan, administer, monitor, and evaluate the delivery of imaging services to patients.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and evaluate staff within assigned department.
- Prepare departmental budget and ensures that department operates within allocated funds.
- Determine and justify needs for equipment purchases, adhere to policies regarding purchases,monitor installations, and oversee proper functionality.
- Develop, implement, and monitor plan for patient care services in assigned department.
- Serve as an effective liaison between the radiologists, radiology residents, chairperson, radiologystaff and other department leaders.
- Maintain department facilities and equipment in a condition to promote efficiency, health, comfort and safety of patients and staff. Evaluate and justify equipment and supply needs and purchases, insure maintenance schedules with Bio-Med.
- Plan for use of space, new equipment, etc.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.
