  • Location: Milwaukee base with required travel among Southeast WI facilities

REQUIREMENTS

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • One or more of the following required:
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. All specialties accepted.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate’s degree/Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.

Responsibilities:

Direct, plan, administer, monitor, and evaluate the delivery of imaging services to patients.

  • Recruit, interview, hire, and evaluate staff within assigned department.
  • Prepare departmental budget and ensures that department operates within allocated funds.
  • Determine and justify needs for equipment purchases, adhere to policies regarding purchases,monitor installations, and oversee proper functionality.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor plan for patient care services in assigned department.
  • Serve as an effective liaison between the radiologists, radiology residents, chairperson, radiologystaff and other department leaders.
  • Maintain department facilities and equipment in a condition to promote efficiency, health, comfort and safety of patients and staff. Evaluate and justify equipment and supply needs and purchases, insure maintenance schedules with Bio-Med.
  • Plan for use of space, new equipment, etc.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.
