Description:
We are seeking a highly-organised, enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our team as the Radiology TCPC Coordinator. The post holder will coordinate patient referrals and pathways from The Christie Private Care (TCPC) to the Radiology department, covering CT, MRI, US and Interventional Radiology.
The successful post holder will ensure timely scheduling of appointments, monitoring of patient pathways, communicate with patients about their appointments and act as a liaison between radiology staff and TCPC, in order to meet performance targets and clinical requirements.
The appointed candidate must have a good knowledge and working experience of NHS access processes such as PTLs and pathway validation, as well as the ability to deliver under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
This a new role that has been introduced in the Radiology service, the ideal candidate will be highly-motivated to take on a new challenge and be driven to embed this role into the department. The role will require the post-holder to be proactive and professional, and have confidence in making decisions. The will possess excellent communication skills and be adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
