Description:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to perform radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the direction of a Radiologist. This role includes coordinating daily activities, performing examinations, and handling associated clerical duties.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Requires strenuous physical effort while assisting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers.
- Handle equipment and monitoring supplies.
- Good oral and written communication skills to interact with patients and hospital staff.
- Frequently stretch, bend, twist, squat, or kneel in operating radiographic equipment.
- Use hands for power gripping, speed work, and precision during manipulation of radiographic equipment and in the case of injured and diseased patients.
- Vision and hearing for distances of up to 10 feet are necessary.
- Exposure to various physical conditions such as walking on hard surfaces, climbing stairs, and being near moving equipment.
- Adapt to changes in temperature and humidity.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
- Document patient history pertaining to specific procedures.
- Confirm patient identification through verbal confirmation and proof of identity.
- Prepare and administer contrast media as required.
- Consult with radiologists and other physicians as necessary.
- Select and operate equipment based on the demands of individual procedures.
- Demonstrate correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
- Maintain appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
