Description:

DESCRIPTION

Performs a variety of technical procedures under the supervision of a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and/or Radiologist. Applies prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging examinations and assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as described or required. **Scope of practice is limited to static imaging only. Fluoroscopy and Surgical exams are out of scope for this job description.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Coursework/Training: Current enrollment in a formal ARRT-qualified Radiologic Technology training program.
  • Washington X-Ray Technician Registration or Washington X-Ray Technician Temporary Practice Permit upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • 6 months of be enrolled in a formal ARRT-qualified Radiologic Technology educational program for a minimum of six months.
