We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking radiographer to join our radiotherapy team to guide professional development in the department. You will have experience and evidence of health education and be a motivated and experienced therapeutic radiographer with excellent communication, leadership skills as well as innovative ideas to drive professional development in a fast-paced radiotherapy department.
We are the first centre in the UK to have Exactrac Dynamic in clinical use on 3 of our 7 Linacs providing sub-millimetre correction through stereoscopic imaging with 6 degrees of freedom correction. Our other linacs and our 3 CTs (1 with 4DCT acquisition) have Align RT allowing thermal and surface guided set up and tracking.

Candidate must have highly developed specialist professional knowledge acquired through master’s level education or equivalent experience.
Mentoring/coaching/education qualification to postgraduate diploma level or equivalent evidence of supporting learners in practice.
Evidence of ongoing professional development.
Significant experience within the field of Radiotherapy.
Clinically, there is a wealth of additional opportunities available in the following areas; TBI and SABR providing safe, state-of-the-art patient centred care for our patients. We are also a regional sarcoma centre, a tertiary referral centre for Neuro-oncology (delivering SRS/T) and our main site is also the only centre in the country delivering Intra operative Radiotherapy (IOERT) for Pancreatic and GI tumours.
This role involves the supervision of workforce training and competency management with projects related to radiographer development and progression. You’ll be working alongside the Radiotherapy Education Lead and wider education team to support and develop an advancing radiography workforce
