We are currently looking for a:
Raging Waters Sydney - Marketing Assistant
About the role:
The Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing team’s efforts to promote our products/services, enhance brand visibility, and engage with target audiences. This individual will assist in executing various marketing campaigns, coordinating marketing activities, and contributing to the overall success of the marketing department.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Campaign Execution:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and traditional media.
  • Assist in the creation of campaign materials such as graphics, copy, and content.

Content Creation:

  • Contribute to content development for marketing materials, including social media posts, email newsletters, and other collateral.
  • Create and maintain a library of image and video content to be used across all communication channels.
  • Help maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all communication platforms.

Social Media Management:

  • Support social media efforts by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages.
  • Plan and execute content ideas to drive social media growth and engagement across Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate with social media influencers to help enhance brand visibility and reputation.

Market Research:

  • Conduct research to gather insights on industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences to inform marketing strategies.
  • Assist in analysing data to identify opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.

Event Coordination:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating marketing events.

Requirements
Languages: Fluent English

Experience:

  • Currently studying or completed a bachelor’s degree or vocational education in marketing or communications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing tools/platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, as well as digital marketing principles.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and standalone in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Prior experience in marketing, either through internships, coursework, or entry-level positions, is a plus.
