  • Full-time, 8-month fixed term or secondment opportunity, based in Greymouth.

NGĀ PŪKENGA ME NGĀ WHEAKO | SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You will have practical, hands-on experience and the ability to tackle a variety of mahi. If you have the following attributes, we are keen to hear from you:

  • a full New Zealand Driver’s licence, ideally with the ability to drive a manual
  • general maintenance and/or landscaping experience
  • proficient in using computer databases and mobile applications, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • a positive can-do attitude and excellent communications skills
  • an ability to work independently, use your initiative and be a team player.
  • physically fit with backcountry experience.
  • a strong health and safety focus.

Desirable:

  • carpentry/ construction skills and experience
  • experience in maintaining visitor facilities, tracks and structures
  • experience and qualifications with use of chainsaws, scrub bars, 4WDS, LUVs and helicopters

The salary range for this position is $58,816 to $66,578 with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.

You must seek the support of your line manager (minimum Tier 4) in writing before applying for a secondment opportunity and attach it to your application.
