Description:
We currently have a vacancy for a Rapid Response Team Assistant within the Housekeeping department at Eastbourne District General Hospital.
This position plays a vital role within hospital with supporting the turnaround of beds in a timely fashion to help the patient flow within the hospital.
We are looking for applicants with knowledge of specialist cleaning and with the ability to use industrial cleaning equipment. This is a very physically demanding job with very high standards to be achieved. You will also need to be able to work under pressure and find challenges rewarding.
Successful applicants will provide support in keeping the environment clean and comfortable for patients as well as carrying out deep cleans on wards and departments throughout the hospital.
37.5 hours per week, rota covers 24 hour period you will be expected to be flexible to work mornings, afternoons, evening & nights, including weekends & bank holidays to support cover within the team
