WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR.
We are seeking someone with experience in raw material or supply chain planning, ideally within food manufacturing or FMCG. You will need strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to forecast demand accurately, prioritise tasks effectively, and manage multiple supplier relationships. Proficiency in planning software (ERP systems) and Excel is highly desirable. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are a must, as well as a keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Responsibilities:
We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive Raw Material Planner to join an independent food manufacturer in Suffolk! As a Raw Material Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless supply of high-quality ingredients to keep the production process running smoothly.
Your role will involve
- Managing supplier relationships
- Monitoring inventory levels and working closely with the Production Planner to meet production schedules
- Inventory Management and Demand Forecasting
- Working with suppliers to achieve the highest quality products and act on any issues immediately
- Problem-solving when there may be occasional supply interruptions
