We are looking for someone with a technical background in Quality Assurance or Specifications to join us as a Raw Materials Coordinator at Warrington

What you’ll be doing
As a Raw Material Coordinator you will work alongside Quality Zone Managers, Raw Materials and Specification Technologists to verify that all materials are safe and conform to all relevant specifications, legislation and customer requirements.
The role of a Raw Materials Coordinator is varied, you will manage documentation for Raw Materials, work closely with the Procurement and Planning teams to address any raw material issues.

You will:

  • Ensure Raw Material specifications are up to date and liaise with Specifications Technologist to ensure RM & Finished product specifications are aligned.
  • Complete traces for audits and to the site schedule
  • Investigate customer complaints or any non-conformance raised internal or externally to provide data which informs resolution with suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with updated customer technical policies, current labelling standards and include all regulatory changes that will impact back of pack information
  • Follow relevant process development procedures, ensuring these are documented correctly and are compliant with internal and customer standards
  • Help and support with internal auditing

What we’re looking for

  • You will ideally come from a technical background (i.e. QA Auditor/Specifications Technologist)
  • Any experience in Raw Materials would be highly advantageous
  • Non-conformance reporting techniques
  • Level 2 for Food Hygiene
  • Level 2 Health and Safety
  • Basic HACCP awareness
