POSITION SUMMARY
- To conduct and lead adventure center desert activities such as Nature drive, Nature walk, Star gazing, Fat biking, E-fat biking, Archery, Night desert safari, Lunar expedition, Fishing, Bird watching, Ritz Kids Rangers, Night Walk, Sunset camel caravan and Team building activities. Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility. Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in accordance with local operating procedure in the event of an emergency. Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies. Wash, mop, and clean the recreation facility. Be aware of possible situations where guests are not able to safely participate in an activity and inform supervisor/manager
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional. Protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers. Anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities. Provide assistance to coworkers, ensuring they understand their tasks. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces; move, lift, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
A Degree, Diploma or recognized training in Ecology, Biological Sciences, Adventure tourism, Field /Tour guiding, Outdoor recreation or relevant area of study
Experience:
At least 1 year working experience in a position relevant to the job requirements.
Experience in a similar resort would be a strong recommendation.
License or Certification:
Valid UAE Manual driver’s license and some experience in First Aid, safety conscious, confident driving off- road manner.
