Description:
POSITION DETAILS
The Office of Research and Innovation Services (ORIS) requires the services of one Graduate Assistant (Fixed, Non-Teaching) with 112 hours over six months to commence work: September 3, 2024 to February 28, 2025.
The Research Ethics Office, a division of ORIS, received a SETS Grant intended to increase awareness of various aspects of the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) on campus. As part of this grant, we are seeking a GA to run an educational campaign on these topics.
The successful candidate will launch a poster campaign throughout Fall 2024 and Winter 2025 with five rounds of posters. The candidate will be mainly designing the posters, displaying the posters, creating online surveys, and assisting with the implementation of pre- and post-evaluation to measure the effectiveness of the poster campaign.
The candidate will also support the Research Ethics Office deliver department-specific presentations to faculty and graduate students across campus, and complete other related duties, as assigned.

The ideal candidate will be a ULethbridge graduate student (either domestic or international) in Academic Good Standing. (Please note that only registered ULeth GA students are eligible to apply.)
Skills:
- Possess excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Have strong organization and project management skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Have excellent computer skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Have proficiency in the fundamentals of graphic design, including creating compelling visuals.
- Proficiency using Qualtrics (online survey platform) is an asset.
