Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated React Native Developer Intern to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mobile app development while contributing to a project that makes a meaningful impact on people’s lives. As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced developers to build and enhance the Betterspace mobile application, integrating advanced features such as WebRTC for audio and video sessions.
Please Note: This is an unpaid internship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of the Betterspace mobile application using React Native.
• Work on integrating WebRTC-based audio and video functionalities, ensuring high-quality, real-time communication between users and therapists.
• Collaborate with the backend team to connect the app to our internal APIs, ensuring fast load times and a seamless user experience.
• Participate in the implementation of responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to maintain app reliability and performance.
• Contribute to code reviews and discussions on best practices and standards.
• Work with the product and design teams to translate UI/UX designs into high-quality code.
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technologies to help improve the app.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Some experience with React Native, either through coursework, personal projects, or previous internships.
• Basic knowledge of WebRTC and its integration into mobile applications is a plus.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, and related technologies.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them into mobile applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
