  • Previous work within a maintenance/contractors preferred
  • Telephone experience essential
  • Organised, approachable and a great communicator
  • Proficient in office-based systems including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and juggle priorities
  • Self-sufficient and diligent
  • Flexible and adaptable as the role changes and grows with the company

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As Office Manager you will be integral to our Reactive Maintenance Department. You will take the lead on a wide range of tasks to ensure that all operations run smoothly, be able to work independently in the office but also closely with out operatives out on the ground. Ensuring that communication is effective, and their diaries are well managed.
You will also be handling incoming leads and converting these into quotes and ultimately jobs booked.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations
  • General office procedures and administration
  • Handling incoming maintenance queries and leads, meeting KPI’s in this regard
  • Creating quotes and effective follow ups
  • Booking and confirming jobs
  • Diary management of our operatives
  • Organising materials and purchase orders
  • Ensuring cost effectiveness from supply chains
  • Raising invoices and liaising with finance
  • Being the first point of contact for existing and prospective clients and all general enquiries via phone and email
