JOB ADVERT: REACT.JS DEVELOPER (WITH WORDPRESS & NODE.JS)

We are seeking a skilled React.js Developer with additional experience in WordPress and Node.js to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will primarily work on front-end development using React.js while contributing to back-end APIs using Node.js and managing content updates or customizations in WordPress.
Location: In-office in Bellville South, Cape Town
Starting Salary: R15,000 – R18,000 per month

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong proficiency in React.js and its ecosystem (e.g., Redux, Zustand , Context API , Redux Toolkit).
• Experience with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with Node.js for developing APIs and server-side logic.
• Basic understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
• Experience with RESTful APIs or GraphQL for front-end and back-end integration.
• Familiarity with Git for version control.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of CSS libraries like Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 -3 years experience as a Web Developer or similar role.
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.
• Demonstrated understanding of CSS and HTML.
• A track record of excellent customer service, ideally in a technical support role.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Experience working in a remote setting, with strong self-management and communication skills.
