POSITION OVERVIEW
The MSCI Index Management Research team is part of the MSCI Research and Product Development organization and is responsible for the ownership and evolution of all index methodologies that cover the Equity, Fixed Income and Real Assets classes. The group also is centrally focused on improving product quality through close collaboration with the Product, Client Coverage, and Technology and Data Services organizations. The team is currently based in Geneva, Mumbai, New York, Hong Kong, Shangai, Monterrey and Manila.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Excellent English Communication Skills is a must.
- Financial industry knowledge.
- Advanced Excel, Python, programming skills, data visualization techniques (Power BI)

DESIRED EXPERIENCE
- Students in 7th - 9th semester of a bachelor’s degree with strong interest in Finance, with a GPA of 90 /100
- Studies abroad or previous work experience is strongly desired.

Responsibilities:
As an Intern of Index Management Research (IMR) in Monterrey, you will
- support the real estate index management research team on index quality, methodology and publications related topics.
- work on operational improvement projects, research based charting tools/analysis on real estate property and property fund indexes.
- collaborate on annual representativeness study on global market size estimations.
