Join us as an Acquisition Manager and put your deal-making skills to the test. We’re seeking motivated individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit to thrive in the fast-paced world of real estate. In this role, you’ll lead the charge in revitalizing communities by identifying, underwriting, and negotiating acquisitions from various sources. Success in this role demands a keen eye for detail, quick analysis, creative solutions, and the ability to drive results in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Build industry relationships
- Source and underwrite on-market and off-market properties for purchase
- Negotiate directly with sellers and real estate professionals
- Write and interpret state, corporate, and industry contracts
- Collaborate with internal acquisitions team to ensure contract and document compliance
- Manage transaction pipeline
- Work with Renovations team to schedule appointments and determine scope of work
- Analyze market trends using past performance and other key indicators
- Cultivate collaborative and goal oriented team relationships and communications
- Represent Wedgewood Homes with positivity, strive for excellence and integrity
Wedgewood occupies 50,000 square feet in a state of the art headquarters in Redondo Beach, California and has been named Company of the Year by the city. Wedgewood has additional office locations in Las Vegas and Dallas, and along with smaller offices throughout the country.
The salary range for this position is $60,000- $65,000 annually. In addition, this role offers significant potential for great earning opportunities with commission incentives and annual bonuses.
