JOB DESCRIPTION

The Property Consultant is responsible for assisting clients in buying, selling, or renting properties. This role involves providing expert advice, market insights, and customer service to help clients make informed decisions. The consultant will work closely with potential buyers, sellers, tenants, and landlords to facilitate real estate transactions.

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in property sales, rentals, or real estate consulting (preferably).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the local real estate market and trends.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A valid real estate license (if required by local regulations).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and real estate platforms (CRM systems, listing websites, etc.).
  • A customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation:
  • Understand client needs and preferences for properties.
  • Offer expert advice on property options, market trends, and pricing.
  • Provide information on the legal processes involved in buying, selling, or renting properties.
  • Market Research and Property Evaluation:
  • Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities for clients.
  • Evaluate properties based on the client’s budget and requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest real estate market trends and property values.
  • Property Marketing:
  • Assist in marketing and promoting properties through various channels (online listings, social media, advertisements).
  • Coordinate property viewings and open houses.
  • Ensure properties are presented in the best light and are accurately represented.
  • Negotiation and Closing Deals:
  • Negotiate with buyers and sellers to agree on the price and terms of the transaction.
  • Draft and review contracts to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Facilitate the closing of deals by liaising with legal teams, mortgage brokers, and other involved parties.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business.
  • Offer ongoing support and guidance throughout the buying, selling, or renting process.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and concerns.
  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Maintain accurate records of property listings, client interactions, and transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant real estate laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management as needed.
