As an attorney in our Real Estate & Development Service Line, you will handle sophisticated and challenging real estate matters for clients across Florida and the nation. We are looking for a candidate with 4+ years of experience in commercial leasing, transactions, financing, and development. This role involves drafting, preparing, and negotiating various real estate contracts, commercial leases, and land use agreements, structuring and documenting loans, and advising clients on all aspects of real estate transactions, ownership, management, and development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active Florida bar license
- 4+ years of experience in real estate law
- Proficiency with technology, including practice management systems and portals
- Excellent research skills, including the use of online services and databases
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of confidentiality
Responsibilities:
- Draft, prepare, and negotiate various real estate contracts, commercial leases, and land use agreements, ensuring all terms are clear and legally sound.
- Structure and document loans, providing comprehensive support throughout the financing process.
- Advise clients on all aspects of real estate transactions, ownership, management, and development, offering strategic legal guidance.
- Conduct thorough legal research and utilize practice management systems to enhance the efficiency of real estate law practice.
- Manage multiple complex real estate projects, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines to deliver high-quality legal services.
