Job Description
-

Conduct regular audits and inspections of the company’s construction and real estate projects to ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and industry standards.

• Review Real Estate related processes such as Facility Management, Energy Management, Leasemangement etc. to evaluate its efficiency and effectiveness.
• Evaluate risks associated with construction, occupational health & safety (OHS) and real estate activities, check and analyse the relevant Internal Control System and develop appropriate control mechanisms to mitigate risks.
• Review construction contracts, lease agreements, building permits and other relevant documents to ensure compliance with company policies and protect the company’s interests.
• Independently conduct building inspections to identify OHS, construction or functional related risks for the operation of the properties and assess the risk.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings in the construction and real estate sector through process and procedure analysis.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as finance, legal, and construction to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to construction and real estate issues.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management to communicate audit findings, risk assessments, and recommendations.

Qualifications
-

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Real Estate- or Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Several years of professional experience in the construction and real estate industry, preferably in auditing, construction- , real estate- or risk management.
• Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements in the construction and real estate sector.
• Analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex issues clearly and communicate with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
