Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a Real Estate Law Clerk within our practice, you will be responsible for managing real estate closings for purchases, sales, mortgages, refinances, and private mortgages in a high-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be available to work from 9 am to 5 pm on any days between Monday and Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES/CAPABILITIES:
- Complete residential and commercial purchase, sale, and mortgage transactions independently.
- Handle a minimum of 15 closings per month.
- Have at least 2 years of real estate transactional experience, including private mortgage lending transactions.
- Work effectively in a team-oriented environment and be a proactive self-starter.
- Provide high-quality service to clients and communicate effectively with them.
- Possess knowledge or good working proficiency in real estate law-related software, including Unity, Teraview, Microsoft Office, and WordPerfect.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and work well within a team.
