Outside the operating businesses, Weybourne manages an investment portfolio and provides financial and other professional support to the Dyson Family, their estates, and personal business interests. The group covers a wide range of sectors including farming, financial and commercial property investments and residential property. OVERVIEW – DEPARTMENT

The Property Team are currently looking for an experienced Real Estate Investment Associate to join the already established team.
This individual will be an integral member of the property team and will be directly involved in supporting on property acquisitions, in all capacity. This role provides a unique opportunity to participate in the rapid growth of a south-east focused portfolio and have fantastic exposure to many different areas within the property team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Support transactions including investment underwriting, due diligence processes, structuring, financing, and closing deals.
  • Run deal schedule & maintain and update the extensive tenancy schedule.
  • Assist on fund reporting and preparation of presentations for the bi-monthly committee meetings and quarterly board meetings.
  • Run cashflows and appraisals for investment opportunities.
  • Support the investment team through the acquisition process in preparation for onboarding of a new asset and the appointment of property managers, agents and other consultants.
  • Evaluating and analysing potential investments using Excel and other modelling tools.
  • Assisting in the due diligence process and preparation of investment reports and presentation materials.
  • Building and maintaining complex cash flow models across the existing portfolio and for potential acquisitions.
  • Conducting detailed market research and analysis on potential direct investments and REIT opportunities.
  • Monitoring and forecasting portfolio performance, composition and analytics to assist the team in making investment recommendations.
  • Support the team in portfolio and asset management analysis, including lease analysis and underwriting existing assets.
  • Monitor new trends in the industry and assess potential impacts on the real estate portfolio.
  • Provide assistance and support to the fund management team and its senior asset manager.
  • Play an active role in asset management initiatives through lease reading, inspecting properties and writing asset management plans.
  • Support colleagues by monitoring the portfolio composition and analytics using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Opportunity to get involved in other property activities outside of the main portfolio.
