The Role:
The Videographer role is a crucial part of the marketing team in supporting, executing and ensuring seamless delivery of video assets. Focused on delivering high quality video footage of our clients properties and ensuring they’re being represented in the best possible light (pun intended). Also responsible for documenting the day-to-day of the organization, team meetings, and team culture for reels and stories to help showcase our team. This is a full time position based in our office in Calgary, Alberta.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Videographer and Video Editor, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in operating video cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.
  • Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and camera techniques.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling and pacing.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • A reliable mode of transportation is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Shoot and edit team listings in a timely manner
  • Plan, shoot, and produce video content for a variety of projects.
  • Operate and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
  • Capture high-quality video footage that adheres to brand guidelines.
  • Use video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects) to add graphics, music, voiceovers, and animations.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand project goals and requirements.
  • Ensure videos are optimized for various platforms, including web, social media, and broadcast.
  • Maintain an organized archive of video projects via Google Drive.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in video technology and editing techniques.
