ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Authentication Centers (warehouses) are where the magic happens! Our facilities are located in New Jersey and Arizona, where we’ve created The Art & Science of Real — combining the knowledge of hundreds of luxury experts with cutting-edge, proprietary technology. As consigned goods travel into our facilities, the team processes, authenticates, and photographs each item in preparation for listing to our website.
As a Receiving Supervisor, you will be responsible for helping drive the day to day operations of the business to ensure proper inventory control and service level agreement compliance. If you are a people-focused leader with a track record for delivering results, this could be the perfect match!

WHAT YOU GET TO DO EVERY DAY

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of 15-20 Receivers, Product Handlers and Leads; provide coaching as needed to ensure individuals and collective team achieve performance metrics including UPH and/or output by day quality metrics
  • Motivate team to achieve and exceed team and individual goals; Maintain a high level of engagement through coaching and motivating the team on a daily basis
  • Manage team attendance and scheduling in accordance with company policies
  • Manage team performance including employee development and progressive disciplinary action as needed; maintain consistent coaching dialog and set individual improvement goals
  • Partner with other Receiving leaders to drive brand compliance and quickly flag training opportunities that will help the team improve
  • Provide coverage on receiving floor; assist with product questions and distribution to increase department’s productivity
  • Act as point of contact for customer returns, authentication, merchandising, copywriting and inbound loading dock
  • Conduct weekly and monthly audits to achieve compliance with standard operating procedures
  • Oversee all inquiries sent to receiving support, ensuring responses are timely with correct information
  • Drive a customer obsessed environment focused on and committed to delivering an excellent experience for our consignors and customers
