Reporting to the Revenue Manager, you will have the opportunity to build a strong relationship with customers by making room reservations for individual and group clients. In addition, as part of your duties, you will be responsible for answering customer questions about the surrounding area and the establishment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Respond to telephone or written inquiries from external and internal clients regarding rooms and suites
  • Make room reservations by promoting promotional rates and packages
  • Take advantage of upselling opportunities with customers over the phone
  • Inform the client of policies (cancellations, guarantees, restrictions, and special requirements related to their rate)
  • Reserve rooms using the computerized reservation system
  • Modify or cancel a reservation
  • Enter accommodation lists submitted by the conference service for future groups
  • Manage changes made to reservations
  • Respond to third-party billing requests using Converge
  • Any other related tasks to ensure the quality of the department’s service.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Sales and customer service aptitude

  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Discretion
  • Good listening and analytical skills
  • Calm and self-control
  • Knowledge of Hotello, Excel, Word systems
  • 2 years of experience (preferred)
