Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Reception Team Leader who will co-ordinate the reception areas and staffing at Lotus House and Campbell House. We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic, compassionate, flexible and creative in their approach and can work alongside different teams within Campbell House/Lotus House.
The Team Leader will provide quality and effective senior reception and administrative support. You will demonstrate an enthusiasm to achieve excellent customer service and comprehension that you and your team are the first point of contact for service users, carers, professionals and members of the public in the reception areas. Excellent communication skills are needed to ensure the smooth running and interface with clinical teams. A positive attitude and problem solving approach is essential as well as having the ability to adapt your communication styles to meet the needs of a diverse range of people.
You will have knowledge and understanding of Microsoft packages and will be motivated to further your understanding and skills through various training opportunities. You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team and have the ability to supervise junior staff and lead by example.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide a quality and professional ‘front of house’ reception service to patients, family and staff attending the department.
  • The day to day supervision of the reception areas in Lotus House and Campbell House
  • Co-ordination of staffing resource across the reception areas
  • Application of of Microsoft Packages, SystmOne, Health Roster
  • Supervision of reception staff
  • Acting as lead receptionist and point of reference
  • Inducting the team and providing support to the team to enable them to deliver excellent customer service
  • Assist the management team to ensure Health & Safety policies & Fire protocols are implemented
  • Ensure that the reception as a working space is tidy; stationery and forms are up to date and well sourced, equipment is in working order and display information is up to date.
  • Ensure communication systems are running smoothly between the reception team and the rest of the building staff
