RECEPTIONIST
MAIN JOB PURPOSE: To provide an efficient and courteous service to guests at all times.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Be fully conversant with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Deal with any guest requests during pre-arrivals and throughout their stay, ensuring the information is communicated and/or recorded accurately.
- To promote and up-sell additional services on check-in.
- Adhere to all hotel credit policies, taking care with payments and seeking support from the departmental leaders when necessary.
- Observe all security and Health & Safety regulations.
- Answer all telephone calls promptly and efficiently.
- Know the current day’ availability.
- Enrol guests to the Melia Rewards program and explain the benefits of joining.
