mlcoa is seeking a dedicated, bubbly, receptionist with a high level of attention to detail to join our team. We are a national provider of independent medical specialist opinion and advisory service to insurers, government departments, self-insured companies and the legal profession.
This role is essential for how we present ourselves to our clients, consulting specialists and patients. Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our team continues to provide a high level of customer service and clerical support in a fast-paced environment
Job Description
Responsibilities:
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Answering and/or directing phone calls
- Meet and greet all visitors to the office
- Check in patients, ensure completion of paperwork and update patient details
- General administrative tasks such as filing, scanning and scheduling appointments
- Contact claimants regarding upcoming appointments
- Mail distribution and dispatch (including courier management)
- Manage the day to day presentation and preparation of consulting rooms
- Administration support to Medical Specialist and Client Services Team
Qualifications
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE DEMONSTRATED:
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience prioritising work in a very busy office environment
- Good time management with the ability to manage interruptions and re-adjust priorities
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- A positive, empathetic, helpful approach and able to work within a confidential environment
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, while maintaining flexibility
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Experience working in the healthcare/medical practice/legal sector an advantage
