Description:

We are looking for a Bilingual Receptionist to welcome community members on the phone and in-person, and direct to the appropriate staff member to assist.
Location: Santa Fe, NM
Full-Time: 40 hours per week, Mon - Fri 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Starting Pay: $21.00 hourly
Communication: Effective communication skills. Requires proficiency in both English & Spanish.
Preferred Experience: Answering multi-line phones, Customer Service and Multi-tasking

Duties include:

  • Answer phones and direct callers to the appropriate person. As call volumes allow, process member requests with accuracy.
  • Strong PC (technology), compliance, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Look for ways we can financially empower those we serve.
  • Effectively listen and build rapport with members.
  • Open and distribute mail to appropriate staff, assist in credit union outgoing mailings.
  • Maintain assigned records, files, and reports as well as assigned administrative responsibilities.
  • Support overflow needs both within and outside the department as time allows.
  • Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.
  • Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information, which may require some discussion.
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned.
