Description:
Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trusts’ breast service department is one of the largest in the country. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual with excellent communication and administrative skills to join the breast service reception and administration team based at Charing Cross Hospital in Hammersmith.
T he main aim of the role is to provide a high quality and friendly reception service as the first point of contact within the breast outpatients’ clinic. The post holder will be part of the team that provides a comprehensive and quality administration service to the department liaising closely with clinical staff and management.
Responsibilities:
Welcoming patients into the clinic and providing a warm and friendly feeling
F ront - desk activities including answering calls, redirecting calls and distributing correspondence
C ompleting reception-related administration services, scheduling patients, checking patients in and out, managing database and general problem solving
Providing administrative support to our clinical and management team
Provide a comprehensive and quality administration service to the designated department and manage and prioritise their workload liaising closely with the other administration staff and management in the Department.
Provide administrative support to the wider multidisciplinary team, including Consultants.
