Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a professional and dedicated individual to fill the role of Receptionist cum Security. The ideal candidate will manage front desk responsibilities while also overseeing the security of the premises to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security is a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar role (receptionist and/or security experience preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Ms Office & Printing Machine.
- Familiarity with security protocols and surveillance equipment.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to security issues.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
Responsibilities:
RECEPTION DUTIES:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Maintain visitor logs and manage visitor access.
- Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
- Maintain the reception area in an organized and presentable condition.
- Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings, as necessary.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and record keeping.
SECURITY DUTIES:
- Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to prevent unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular checks and patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.
- Operate security equipment, such as surveillance cameras and access control systems.
- Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents, following established procedures.
- Report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or security breaches to management.
- Assist in the implementation and adherence to emergency protocols.
- Ensure compliance with security and safety regulations.
