Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a professional and dedicated individual to fill the role of Receptionist cum Security. The ideal candidate will manage front desk responsibilities while also overseeing the security of the premises to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar role (receptionist and/or security experience preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Ms Office & Printing Machine.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and surveillance equipment.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to security issues.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.

Responsibilities:

RECEPTION DUTIES:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Maintain visitor logs and manage visitor access.
  • Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
  • Maintain the reception area in an organized and presentable condition.
  • Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings, as necessary.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and record keeping.

SECURITY DUTIES:

  • Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Conduct regular checks and patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.
  • Operate security equipment, such as surveillance cameras and access control systems.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents, following established procedures.
  • Report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or security breaches to management.
  • Assist in the implementation and adherence to emergency protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with security and safety regulations.
