Responsibilities:

WORPURPOSE OF JOB

The front desk receptionist is responsible for performing clerical tasks to support daily operations. Duties include answering and transferring phone calls, sorting, and delivering mail and greeting visitors when they arrive for meetings with management or sales staff.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greeting visitors in person or on the telephone
  • Answering or referring inquiries
  • Maintaining employee and department directories as a guide for directing visitors
  • Offering beverages to guests when necessary
  • Scheduling meetings and travel for executives, as well as appointments for customers
  • Maintaining lobby area
  • Answering phones, answering inquiries, forwarding calls.
  • Maintaining and ordering office supplies
  • Managing company apparel orders
  • Handles all outgoing mail; sorts and distributes incoming mail
  • Drafts, reviews, and proofreads office documents
  • Responsible for operating and maintaining office machines, including printers, copiers, and faxes.
  • All other duties as assigned.
