Description:
SUMMARY
Reporting to the Regional Branch Manager, the Receptionist is responsible for providing administration and reception support for a fast paced, high volume Service Branch environment. Duties will include but are not limited to managing branch phones, data entry, verification and processing, filing, and maintain stationery and office supplies. This is a 6-month temporary full-time position.
We seek a candidate who has a core foundation of integrity and is willing and able to use commitment and creativity to drive our organization towards success. This position is based out of the Fort St John Service branch.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma.
- Demonstrate ability to work in a busy environment, maintaining a positive and flexible attitude.
- 1-3 years reception experience is considered an asset.
- Superior customer service and communication skills.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- The ability to handle a very busy and demanding front end.
- Organized with the ability to multi-task and take initiative.
- Able to work independently with little supervision.
- Reliable, dependable and excellent attendance.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the branch phones in a professional and courteous manner.
- Troubleshoot and direct telephone calls accordingly.
- Support centralized Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & Payroll functions.
- Verification of Field Technician time sheets and data entered into service orders.
- HSE administration support – schedule safety meetings, reporting as required.
- Provide front line contact and support for visitors, employees and customers.
- Couriers – Receiving/sending and sign off on courier packages.
- Create, receive and move Purchase Orders required on a daily basis.
- Process all incoming and outgoing mail.
- Responsible to order supplies and maintain inventory of office supplies.
- Provide support to regional leader.
- Administrative and data entry duties as assigned.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
