Description:
We are looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
This role is initially offered on a 1-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension into a longer-term position for the right candidate.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (preferably in a healthcare setting).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and appointment management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy clinical environment.
- A compassionate and patient-focused approach to work.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction: Welcome and greet patients in a warm and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Appointment Management: Check patients in for their appointments, schedule new appointments, confirm upcoming visits, and manage rescheduling when necessary.
- Payment Handling: Process patient payments, record transactions accurately, and provide receipts as needed.
- Phone & Email Communication: Answer incoming calls and emails, providing information, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments, and handling general patient queries.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate patient records, update the clinic’s appointment system, and ensure all administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
- Confidentiality & Compliance: Adhere to GDPR and patient confidentiality guidelines while handling sensitive patient information.
