Solihull Retirement Village, part of the ExtraCare Charitable Trust, are currently recruiting a part time Receptionist on a 12 months fixed term contract.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Position: Receptionist
  • Contract: Maternity Cover – 12 months fixed term contract
  • Hours: 19 hours per week
  • Salary: £12.00 per hour (£11,888 pro-rata)

RECEPTIONIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet and greet visitors in a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming manner.
  • Provide a friendly and helpful telephone service.
  • Ensure all visitors & contractors can be accounted for in case of an emergency.
  • Ensure reception area is kept tidy and report any shortfalls.
  • With the Administrator, provide a typing and photocopying service and order stationery on a weekly basis.
  • Set up systems to manage and keep accurate records of meeting room bookings.
  • Take comprehensive messages for members of staff or residents, ensuring they are passed on.
  • Train and guide residents, volunteers, or others to provide a competent service.
