Receptionist
Location: Hitchin
Salary: £12.07 per hour
Hours: 15hrs per week (Thurs & Fri)

Responsibilities:
MAIN PURPOSE:
To present a welcoming and efficient introduction to Brainkind and to provide administrative and clerical support as appropriate.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all visitors are processed according to procedure
- Receive all incoming telephone calls and transfer or take messages as appropriate
- Deal with incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
- General clerical duties
- Occasional cash handling
- Supervision of Volunteer Receptionists
- Provision of refreshments
- Ensure all visitors are entered in the appropriate book, are issued with appropriate ID and informed of relevant health and safety issues
- Respond efficiently to enquiries to the service from patients, carers and professionals.
- In order to facilitate the safe and smooth running of the Centre/Office, employees are expected to maintain a safe working environment, maintain service user confidentiality, and occasionally take on reasonable additional tasks to meet the needs of the service
