Description:
Are you looking for an exciting role where you can highlight your exceptional customer service skills? Look no further! At Warwick Conferences, we’re seeking a dynamic Receptionist to provide a warm and efficient service to our valued customers.
From the moment they arrive to the time they depart; you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring their experience is nothing short of extraordinary. Picture yourself as the first point of contact, welcoming guests with a genuine smile and making them feel right at home. If you thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
As a receptionist, you’ll become an expert on our state-of-the-art facilities, encompassing all the venues at Warwick Conferences and the sprawling University campus. Your professionalism and dedication to exceptional customer service will be second nature, ensuring that our Customer Service Promise is always upheld. You’ll also collaborate with our Reservations/Sales team, providing essential support when needed. Whether you’re assisting guests face to face or over the phone, you’ll handle all procedures efficiently and effectively, going the extra mile to meet any special requirements. Your exceptional problem-solving skills will come in handy when addressing guest complaints, rectifying issues promptly, and communicating them to the Assistant Manager.
Cash control and financial regulations will be part of your responsibility, and you’ll maintain accurate records and follow set procedures diligently. Additionally, your keen eye for potential new business opportunities will contribute to the growth of our conference centres. As a key member of our team, you’ll ensure a warm welcome to all tutors and course organizers, providing them with essential information and maintaining regular contact throughout their stay. Your commitment to customer feedback will help us continuously improve our services, as you collect and act upon feedback from conference organizers and tutors.
To succeed in this role, you’ll possess excellent communication and organizational skills, which will be put to the test in your interactions with the public, both face to face and over the phone. Health and safety will be a top priority, and you’ll adhere to policies, report incidents promptly, and carry out risk assessments. If you have experience in a customer-facing role within hotels or conference centres, along with good IT skills, including Word, Excel, and hotel management software, we want to hear from you. Show us your initiative and passion for delivering exceptional customer care and join our team as we strive to provide the highest quality service to our guests.
We continue to actively build an environment where every individual can fulfil their potential and be proud ambassadors for Warwick University, our colleagues, and our customers.
We value the diversity of our people and welcome applications from everyone.
