About the job
Join our dynamic and growing team at Danone, a leading firm in the Infant Formula sector. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming environment for our clients and employees.
You will be the first point of contact for all visitors at our flagship manufacturing site in Auckland. Providing service and to our staff and visitors onsite, and answer and direct incoming telephone calls, whilst welcoming and announcing visitors. Assist with site/security related queries (e.g. issuing swipe cards) while manage incoming and outgoing mail, courier, fruit, milk, water and consumables deliveries. Supporting the HR team with administration, through organising communications, assisting with roll out of benefits on site and maintaining relevant documents to ensure they are kept up to date.
This is a 12 months fixed term opportunity covering parental leave.
You will:
- Receive and coordinate mail distribution and prepare outgoing mail
- Issue and maintain records for swipe card security access for employees, short term visitors and long-term contractors swipe card access
- Maintain stationery/office supplies, appropriate levels/orders as necessary, including kitchen supplies, fruit supply, milk
- Assist the HR team with managing the HR inbox & Supply Point Communications
- Compile new starter and parental leaver toolkits & policy booklets
- Manage employee benefits such as Long Service awards, Champion awards, Flu Jabs & Health Insurance sign ups
- Support on recruitment process including phone-screening, booking interviews and pre-employment checks
- Create, maintain and receipt all reception related Purchase Orders e.g. stationery, water, couriers and all consumables
- Manage catering for events
About you
You are an energetic, proactive, confident, and process-oriented professional with prior experience in administration or reception.
To be successful you will also have:
- A tertiary Qualifications in Business Administration/Human Resources or equivalent
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with office software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
