POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our Reston team. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing essential administrative support.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Tech savvy skillset.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software.
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients, visitors, and guests warmly, determine the purpose of their visit, and direct or escort them to the appropriate person or location.
- Efficiently answer, screen, and direct phone calls to staff; take messages and schedule appointments as needed.
- Receive and distribute mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries in a timely manner.
- Perform various administrative and clerical tasks to support the office operations.
- Maintain accurate filing and recordkeeping systems.
- Carry out other related duties as assigned.
