· Administration experience
· Polite and friendly manner with a willingness to learn

· Excellent IT skills

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

· Provide a professional and comprehensive reception service as part of a frontline team, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality and welcoming experience for all patients, their families, and health professionals
· The post holder will liaise extensively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless communication and support. They will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of the service by managing enquiries, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the day-to day operations of the team
· Manage all enquiries in a professional, empathetic, and efficient manner, whether by telephone, face-to-face, or in writing
· Act as the first point of contact, using sound judgment to assess and respond to a wide range of information to ensure each patients’ needs are appropriately progressed or referred. This includes the initial handling of complaints
· Use a computerised system (RiO) to manage multiple diaries and accurately input patient information
This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
